Nathan Kirsh, Eswatini's sole billionaire, has surpassed the $20 billion net worth mark according to Forbes in August 2026.

Kirsh started the year with $9.1 billion and is now the third African billionaire to achieve this milestone.

This growth follows the strong fiscal performances of several African billionaires, though only South Africa’s Johann Rupert and Nigeria's Aliko Dangote have also crossed $20 billion.

Kirsh’s net worth surge is linked to the March 2026 sale of Restaurant Depot LLC for about $29 billion to Sysco Corp.
