"I WANTED TO BE A SHOEMAKER"
~ Zack Orji
I was born in Gabon, my mom sold drinks and my father was a shoe maker. I picked interest in shoe making, but my father wanted me to study medicine. I didn't want that, so I ran to Nigeria to meet my childhood friend, Caleb.
Caleb had cerebral palsy but he was my best friend.
Caleb is the inspiration behind my charity organization for the less privileged and people living with disabilities.
I attended UNN and got a degree in Estate management. After which I resumed shoe making, but my shop was burgled and I lost everything.
I then auditioned for the movie Unforgiven Sin, that was in 1991.
I got a role and did quite well. Later on, I got a major role in Glamour girls and there has been no going back.
Today I have featured in over 200 movies.
I'm an Actor, producer, film maker, entrepreneur and realtor.
I was focused on being a shoe maker and estate agent but God had greater plans for me.
