Key Duties & Responsibilities
Must have a standard training curriculum which will be used
Draft training goals and objectives
Review the existing Board Terms of Reference (TOR)
Update the existing Board Manual
Train Board members on Organizational and Board governance
Board performance evaluation and action plan development
Write a detailed report on the Board training
Draft pre and post-training assessment.
Duration of Assignment:
The assignment is to be completed within One (1) week from the date of the official signing of the contract.
Qualifications
Postgraduate Degree in relevant course with 10-15 years experience
Professional certification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Working in a local or international NGO or a similar entity that has a Board
Has experience being a board member or a Board chair
Has experience developing a Board manual
Has evidence that you have done these trainings before with references
Understanding of NGO and non NGO Board manual
Minimum of five to ten years of experience in conducting Board Training.
