Position: Divorce Teacher
Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Divorce Teacher to join our team. The Divorce Teacher will be responsible for providing education and guidance to individuals going through the process of divorce. This role requires a compassionate and understanding individual with a strong background in counseling and conflict resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting individual and group counseling sessions with clients going through divorce
- Providing information and resources to clients regarding the legal, financial, and emotional aspects of divorce
- Assisting clients in developing coping strategies and communication skills to navigate the divorce process
- Collaborating with legal professionals and other support services to ensure clients have access to a comprehensive support system
- Conducting workshops and seminars on topics related to divorce, such as co-parenting, managing emotions, and rebuilding after divorce
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client sessions and progress
- Staying up-to-date with current laws, trends, and research related to divorce and sharing this information with clients and colleagues
- Providing referrals to outside agencies and resources when necessary
- Collaborating with other Divorce Teachers and professionals to develop and implement best practices for supporting individuals going through divorce
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals going through divorce
- Strong understanding of the legal, financial, and emotional aspects of divorce
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to counseling
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques and experience in managing difficult situations
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to divorce
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in record-keeping software
Working Conditions:
The Divorce Teacher will work primarily in an office setting, but may also conduct sessions in other locations as needed. This role may require some evening or weekend work to accommodate client schedules. The Divorce Teacher may also have to travel to attend workshops or conferences.
