Chief Aminat Olawunmi Ige, was born in the noble town of Akesan, Lagos, Nigeria in the 1980s.
She bagged a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics at the prestigious Lagos State University (LASU) and an M.Sc. degree in Mathematics at the University of Lagos(UNILAG) respectively.
She also holds a Change Management Registered Practitioner Certificate (CMRP) from the renowned APMG international.
She is well experienced in teaching Mathematics which has been displayed at Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) and Lagos state University(LASU).
She was an Assessor with the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) before she joined the banking industry where she immediately displayed her brilliance by emerging the best graduating student at the foundation school, a feat which placed her banking career on a fast track.
Awarded the best indigenous undergraduate student in Akesan in the year 2007, Yeye Oge Aminat has several academic scholarship awards to her name including the famous Lagos state scholarship, Lagos state university scholar and the University of Lagos Teaching Assistant Scholarship awards.
She was crowned the Yeye Oge of Akesan Kingdom by HRM Oba Tajudeen Abayomi Alabi Fagbohun (Oba of Akesan Kingdom) on the 8th of July 2017 and history has it that she is the first to hold such title in the kingdom.
Yeye Oge of Akesan is well known as the Patroness of the Akesan Indigenous Students Association (AISA). She has served Akesan community in different capacities most of which were related to the Public relations office.
Yeye Oge of Akesan, a mathematician, banker and entrepreneur is known for being a ready voice for the youth. She stands out for giving her voice to girls and helpless women in and around her community.
She was awarded the title of ‘Akesan Peace Ambassador 2017’ by Peace Vision and Care Foundation.
