Summary:
We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Teacher to join our team in Nigeria. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of the next generation and providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge for their future success. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in accordance with the Nigerian curriculum
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to participate and excel in their studies
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss students’ academic progress and address any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop innovative teaching methods and improve overall teaching standards
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with the latest educational practices
- Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades and performance
- Create and maintain a safe and disciplined classroom environment
- Promote values of respect, responsibility and integrity among students
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification/license from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a formal school setting
- Sound knowledge of the Nigerian curriculum and educational system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Enthu
siasm and passion for teaching and working with children
- Fluency in English and proficiency in local languages is a plus
