With a career spanning over two decades, Tuface Idibia's success story is one that inspires and motivates many.

Born Innocent Ujah Idibia on September 18, 1975 in Jos, Plateau State, Tuface grew up in a music-loving family. His parents were both teachers and his mother was also a choir director in their church. From a young age, Tuface showed a keen interest in music and would often perform at school events and local talent shows. However, it was not until he met Blackface and Faze, with whom he formed the iconic music group, Plantashun Boiz, that his musical journey truly began.

In 1999, Plantashun Boiz released their debut album 'Body and Soul' which gained widespread recognition and established them as one of the top music groups in Nigeria. With hit tracks like 'Knock Me Off' and 'You and I', the album was a huge success and earned them numerous awards and nominations. Tuface's unique voice and songwriting skills stood out in the group, making him a fan favorite.

In 2004, Tuface embarked on a solo career and released his debut album 'Face 2 Face' which was a major hit. The album featured the popular track 'African Queen' which gained international recognition and made Tuface a household name not just in Nigeria, but across Africa. The success of his debut album cemented Tuface's position as one of the top musicians in Nigeria and earned him several awards and nominations.

Over the years, Tuface has released numerous hit albums and singles, collaborating with both local and international artists. He has also won several prestigious awards, including multiple MTV Africa Music Awards, MOBO Awards, and Headies Awards. His music has also been recognized globally, with collaborations with renowned artists such as Wyclef Jean, R. Kelly, and Mary J. Blige.

Apart from his successful music career, Tuface is also known for his philanthropic work and activism. He is the founder of the 2Baba Foundation, which focuses on supporting and empowering young people in Nigeria. He has also been involved in various charity projects, including the 'Vote Not Fight' campaign which aimed to promote peaceful elections in Nigeria.

Despite his success, Tuface has faced his fair share of challenges. In 2007, he was involved in a highly publicized feud with his former bandmate Blackface, which caused a rift between them. However, in recent years, the two have reconciled and have even hinted at a possible reunion of Plantashun Boiz.

In 2019, Tuface was honored with a special award by the Governor of Lagos State for his contributions to the Nigerian music industry. He was also one of the artists selected to perform at the inaugural edition of the 'Africa Day Concert' organized by the African Union.

Tuface Idibia's journey to success has not been without its ups and downs, but through hard work, determination, and talent, he has become a household name and an inspiration to many. He has undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the Nigerian music industry and his legacy will continue to live on for generations to come.
